02.14.08 : Re-V-Day
It's here! The best fake holiday of the year, and we're reprising our beloved mixtape for the occasion — all-new songs, all-new moronic observations from an 11-year-old — check it out here.

02.08.08 : King of cable
Our own Matt Howell is the champion of the first-ever cabling (a.k.a. competitive cable untangling) world championships! No joke, check the link here — we're talking international media darling!

01.10.08 : Renewed defiance
We signed on to produce a bunch of new machinima short films for the "Defy All Challenges" site we built (with McCann SF) for Microsoft's Visual Studio software — it's the latest in nerd chic, so check it out here.

12.17.07 : Robot lovin'
Happy holidays everyone! 'Tis the season for our robot friends to get busy on the dance floor — check out our Holiday Exobotics site here where you can design our future mechanical overlords and make them dance.

04.30.07 : Toei story
Toei Animation has been called the "Disney of Japan", with a huge catalogue of anime hits. We just launched the first phase of their American site, which will delight kids and adults alike, and perhaps even forward-thinking senior citizens.

04.24.07 : Coca-Cola part deux
The second phase of our NEW World of Coca-Cola site has gone live. The Flash-rich, vibrant site promotes the attraction and provides visitors with all the info they need — the site is as cool and refreshing as an ice-cold Coca-Cola (we NEVER stop marketing for our clients).

04.14.07 : Head Turner
Our network hero ID for Turner Classic Movies just ran — it's a 3D piece executed in the painterly style of Edward Hopper. Moody and atmospheric, the piece calls to mind those dreary days that were made for watching movies and gorging on trans fats.

04.02.07 : Regular job
Our Benefiber spot just ran (in collaboration with Euro RSCG Worldwide) and we couldn't be happier — after flying to Moscow for the shoot and getting the animation and compositing just right, we feel like everything came out perfectly.

03.29.07 : Tough stuff
Our "Team Tough" site for Ford's Super Duty trucks just went live, a project we did in collaboration with JWT/ Detroit. This was an ideal job for us because we are without a doubt the toughest studio in the west.

03.26.07 : Shady job
The spot we created for Foster Grant sunglasses aired today — it's always a thrill to see our work on TV, especially when watching with one's visiting mother who still doesn't understand exactly what it is we do.

03.22.07 : Kicking it
We launched the latest Sidekick site for T-Mobile and Publicis Seattle — this version of the phone was designed by Dwyane Wade himself. The site features cool animations, transitions and a restrained design that balances the focus between D-Wade and the phone.

03.12.07 : Machinima-mazing
In collaboration with McCann SF, our site for Microsoft Visual Studio went live today. The site uses "machinima" as its central conceit - essentially filmmaking within the framework of a computer game. Using this technique we created 9 unique web spots and built an immersive interface for the website that allows the user to move through a virtual 3D world. Learn all about it here.

03.12.07 : The Slane factor
We are happy to welcome Mike Slane to the family (and we mean "family" in the Manson sense). He joins us from Motion Theory, bringing a ton of experience working on high concept 3D and 2D projects for clients like HP, Nike, Cadillac and Budweiser.

03.11.07 : SXSW OMG
We're honored to have won an award at the SXSW interactive festival, where our Valentine's Day mixtape won for best amusement site. We were the first ones called up the stage — furious blushing and awkward jibber jabber was followed by a mad dash to the hotel room and mini-bar solace.

02.25.07 : Spirit squared
The IFC Spirit Awards aired last night, with our show package and on-stage graphics gracing the proceedings. It's our second year in a row working with this beloved alternative awards show, and we would never, ever work for some glitzy, mainstream awards show (call us).

01.02.07 : Hello Aught-Seven
Happy New Year everyone — we're looking forward to a year of great work, happy clients and bizarre weather patterns!

12.20.06 : Children of Atlantis
We've wrapped up a motion piece for the high-end resort Cove Atlantis. Take a look here and let your tropical fantasies run wild — you can swim with freaking dolphins, no joke.

Featured Project

Liberty Mutual Lighthouse : Hill Holliday
animated short

view

For Liberty Mutual, we were given the opportunity to create a short film for Hill Holliday's "Responsibility Project" campaign. We came up with the original concept, wrote, and directed this animated film set in a seaside village at the turn of the century. It's a real tear-jerker, so be ready with the Kleenex.
