Just helping Microsoft Xbox Evolve Entertainment (Zzzzz)
Microsoft's console goes waaaaay beyond a gaming device – it's increasingly becoming the household's primary entertainment center with different kinds of content on a variety of channels (they call them "hubs"). Microsoft has staked billions on the success of the Xbox platform, so branding a component of this new interface is a critical step in its evolution – high-stakes and high-profile, just how we like it.
The Xbox Live Team tasked Exopolis with creating a hub for Kinect Fun Labs – a series of apps that let users play with Kinect's "people-scanning" technology. Exopolis developed the Fun Labs brand identity, including a logo and design system. For the hub itself, a digital show package was created with a toolkit of design assets, including backgrounds, graphic elements, home and sub pages. Fun, sophisticated, and totally user-friendly for in-house updates.
